Norwich - what is the best area for a young family and why

We are hoping to relocate to Norwich and we are in search of a 3/4 bedroom house with 1/2 bathrooms and a garden. Budget is max 450k

We visited a friend in NR2 and explored the area a bit, as well as NR4 and a little bit NR1 and NR3

We are going back next week and this time staying at an AirBnB in NR3 so we can get to know the area a bit better. Someone told me NR3 is 'the Hackney of Norwich'. Would you agree with this? And if it's true, what does that make NR2 or NR4?

We like to be walking distance from the city but in a nice quiet neighbourhood, is that possible?

Could you please let me know some roads and areas that are nice to live in Norwich, so I can go with the stroller and walk around them?

Many thanks

Golden triangle around unthank road along with Newmarket Road is considered very posh.

cringleford, Eaton Vale is near the Hospital has great links to the A11/A47

thorpe is a village type vibe quite pleasant.

areas such as spowston, hellesdon on outskirts again decent

old catton is closer to centre. Lots of nice Victorian terraces.

i don’t go by postcodes I’m afraid

NR2 (also known as the Golden Triangle) is lovely, full of families, has good infant and junior schools and is a 20 minute walk into the city centre. But houses are more expensive here than other parts of Norwich. Still, you could get a 3 bed terrace house for £450k.
NR4 incorporates Eaton, Cringleford and is also adjacent to NR2. House prices vary, but you can normally get a bit more for your money in this area, it also has lots of families living there, and the primary schools are good (Eaton primary and Colman road). Bit further to walk into town but very easy to get the bus or you could bike. Both NR2 and NR4 are close to Eaton park which is a great park with lots going on.
Don’t know so much about NR3, which is just North if the city.
You could also have a look at Trowse, which is just south of Norwich, but walking distance to the city centre. Has a great primary schools and is and a really nice community.
Generally, Norwich is a lovely city to live in, all the best with your search and move.
