LVT Flooring for farmhouse kitchen?

We need to replace our kitchen floor. It's an old farmhouse so needs to complement the kitchen which is painted pine units. I'd love real flagstone tiles but it's not very practical for us, also ceramic or porcelain are out due to previous experience of damage. So LVT or vinyl are what we're looking at, Amtico or Kardean eg. Not wood effect or too modern (concrete look eg). Has anyone found something that fits a similar kitchen? Spent ages looking but not found anything yet! Thank you

We've used Amtico stone effect tiles in ours and I'm really pleased with it (Victorian house so traditional style). Make sure you get the "grout" lines, and we got ours laid in the field stone pattern.

It's a bit pristine looking than real flagstone but so much more practical and easy to clean. I've put a rug down so soften the look.

A friend with a similar kitchen has Karndean Portland Stone with “grout “ lines. Looks great.

Painted pine sounds a bit underwhelming. Maybe try Karndean in a natural oak?

Thanks for the replies! I'll have a look at the Amtico and the Kardean Portland stone.

Can I ask why not flagstone tiles. I think they would be a much better option than any of the others?

If you are going to be digging up the floor anyway, you could properly insulate it, and even install underfloor heating.

I’m similar to you, I’ve looked and looked and looked . I don’t mind LVT but you have to chose it for the practical elements. In that situation, it is never in a million years going to look as good as real stone.

all of the brands have square / sharp edges, you can’t achieve that tumbled/ aged look. It is warmer and nicer to walk on tho.

Harvey Maria have some gorgeous patterns. We've just had it installed in our utility.
