Apartment 1 is €250,000 euros, 3rd floor top floor, balcony, lift, 105 square meters, 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom and bathroom with just toilet and sink

Apartment 2 is €264,000, 2nd floor from 5 floors, no balcony, lifr, 126 square meters, 3 bedrooms, 1 of those has an ensuite, 1 bathroom.

I'd never buy, rent or holiday in an apartment without some outside space. Remember covid?

Top floor all the way with the balcony, if the sq m is enough for your needs.

Balcony and lift would win for me.

MiddleAgedDread · 15/07/2025 12:15

Top floor and balcony for me unless really need a 3rd bedroom, although I have one of those and could really do with a 3rd bedroom to use as an office...... ideally I'd want a mix of both - 3 beds, top floor and a balcony!
I've never lived in a flat that wasn't top floor so not sure what the noise from above could be like, but my top floor flats have always benefited from loft space which is useful.

Yep, top floor. Nobody above you, so presumably less chance of noise and also you have the balcony. I love a balcony!

Depends where they are and who the neighbours are.

I lived in Spain for a while and the very late night culture made life hellish when we were trying to sleep because the upstairs neighbours were up until 1 or 2am and would constantly wake up our children. Despite saying they were only living daily life. No parties etc.

100% top floor, no doubt about it. I'm in top floor now, the silence is wonderful and soo much better after having lived in a middle floor. Balcony & lift are essential to me now too after living without previously.

Top floor for me. Hopefully for less noise and the balcony woukd be nice even if it’s just to have a few flowers, plants etc.

Depends on your needs but my first instinct is top floor, lift & balcony are all winning features for me.
