Flooring for wet UFH - which one is cheaper/quicker to install

Hi
We have decided to add wet underfloor heating to the entire property as part of a big reno project.
We haven’t decided on flooring yet, but the architect had suggested laminate for bedroom/living room and tiles for the open kitchen dining.
Although that sounds ok, I’m worried about the difference in thicknesses between the two options.
I had considered LVT (amtico) wood/stone combo but I had just learned the whole process takes ages due to the need to adding a layer of self levelling compound that needs days to dry. Also, the project will be done over the winter, so sounds like it would not meet the minimum temperature required for installation. Having to pay for the builders to just wait for 7 days sounds like a non-starter for me.
Can you please tell me your experience installing wet underfloor heating and the flooring?

We’ve only had it done downstairs and originally installed engineered wood but after two leaking pipe incidents (not ufh related) had to change to tiles. Tiles will feel warmer underfoot, it’s quite nice.
