5 years ago we had a single storey kitchen extension approved, all done, signed off by building control etc.
We’re now selling our house and it’s currently going through searches with buyers solicitors. I’ve just thought we never had a party wall agreement with the neighbour on the left side, I did go round and ask them to sign one but she said no you don’t need one I’m fine with the extension and that was that basically.
Now I’m wondering is this going to come up in the searches and enquiries?
The extension is within 3 meters of their wall. We’re mid terrace. There is about id say a 1/2 a metre gap between our wall and theirs.
Really hoping it isn’t going to be a problem as don’t need more shit to deal with right now !
