Unoccupied house insurance

My Mum has recently died, leaving me as the executor and looking after her house.
I've been quoted for unoccupied house insurance, which is quite basic. The other option is FLEEA insurance, which is very basic, but I'm wondering if this will be enough?
What do people do in this situation?
Does anyone have any knowledge or experience in this area?
I visit the house 2-3 times a week (luckily live nearby), as I'm slowly sorting through her things and keeping the house ticking over (gardening etc).

Can't you stay overnight to fulfil normal insurance requirements? We ask friends to stay if we are away for too long.

You can go for the extended cover which should basically include all the usual things apart from accidental damage.
Or the FLEA cover. Which is basic.

Really down to individual choice whether you want the basic cover or extended and whether you want to take that risk.

And no, even if you stay overnight sometimes, it will still be classed as unoccupied because no one's living there on a permanent basis

Thank you for your replies. I have found insurance which covers quite a lot, apart from water damage. I will just have to weigh up the risk of water damage happening. I don't want to turn the water off because I'm there quite often and will be making drinks, using the toilet etc. I plan to set the heating to a minimum temperature and as I visit quite regularly will have to hope nothing happens.

Thank you for your advice, it's a situation I've never been before and didn't foresee it happening for a while yet.
