Draught proofing windows

Hello, has anyone got their windows professionally draught proofed? I know it's not as effective as complete replacement to double glaze but we're looking for more affordable options for two windows. It would be great to hear about your experiences and if you think it's worth it!

I guess it depends what you mean by draught proofing.

Fitting in the cracks is pretty easy. But won't really help. Secondary glazing on the other hand can work quite well. You can get customised kits made up and fix them in yourself and they are pretty good. The more expensive options will allow you to open the windows as they implement a sliding window feature.

I mean they take out the glass and seal the windows property.

So it's double glaze sealing without the double glaze glass, which is why it's cheaper.
