One hole kitchen mixer tap, Victorian style levers, brushed nickel or steel but with pull out?

Does such a thing exist?

My criteria is it must have only one hole as this is the current cut out, I like ceramic levers, either white or black, dont like shiny steel so brushed is good, not rose or gold or black though, dont mind copper. But ideally I would like a pull out to wash pans etc?

I notice the pull outs have a more modern style to them or has anyone found similar to what Ive said here?

Perrin and Rowe do great taps in the style you like, but you’d need an additional hole for the pull out. And honestly, that is what I would do. I have had taps with an attached pull out and they’ve been crap. Perrin and Rowe are £££ but last forever and look great.

Try tap warehouse & plumworld, both stock a lot of different taps.

Sorry, I'm not entirely sure. I have seen what you're after, but as it's the complete opposite of what I'm after, I wasn't specifically looking for it!!

I've had some medication today that's making me feel really dizzy, dreadful and just not worth it! I did try to look for you but can't focus.

Good luck, it's hard to find something to your specific requirements even though there are 100 hundreds of taps!! I'm not having much like myself, but probably I just need to settle on something and get it ordered & stop being sobloody fussy😩🙇🏻‍♀️🙇🏻‍♀️

Not all pull out hoses are crap though!!

Put it this way, fitting taps is part of my job, I have literally fitted thousands. I no longer fit taps with attached pullouts because we ALWAYS ALWAYS get called back to them, irrespective of how much they cost or the supposed quality of the brand. Seperate pull outs have always been fine.

Well, I've used plenty of taps where the pullout works just fine so maybe it's the way they're fit...

I was looking for the same thing last year. These were the only ones I could find that weren’t silly money.

I didn’t go with a pull out in the end though as, despite having an enormous butler sink with tap ledge, my fitter strongly advised me not to with oak worktops and teenagers, as the overspray can be a real problem with wood worktops. He was right, we have been back in for 6 months our renovation and they can spray enough water everywhere without a dedicated attachment!

Sorry, meant to add. You can find matt/brushed nickel etc versions of them, but they tend to be harder to get and a lot more expensive.

I assume you mean “fitted”? And no, it’s not. We track defects by product and person who fitted them, across literally thousands of properties over many years.

You've been very brave. I wouldn't have even gone with genuine oak worktops and teenagers!! Well any child actually!!

We were careful to make sure the worktops were fully protected with plenty of coats of osmo, so water beads for a fairly long time, giving us time to wipe them dry. I’m actually finding them really easy to care for.

I do keep a stack of clean microfibre cloth under the sink and have already trained said teens to dry the worktops every time they use the sink. They all use our worktop savers and chopping boards properly too.

They are good kids and know how long I waited for this kitchen and how much it cost, so they do try their best.

No, it doesn’t. A more technically minded person might be able to fit one but not me!

soupyspoon · 28/04/2025 19:35

I need a 2 lever tap

I think I might scrap the need for a pull out. We have wooden work tops and the current tap is broken, brita filter tap and every plumber so far has said if they're fixed they fail again soon after and the water is coming out in a really shooting manner at the moment and the work tops are getting drenched

So I'll just go for what we have but with no filter, the one posted above is about right.
