Corner kitchen cupboard pull-out shelves - what’s good?

Moving shortly and the kitchen has two bottom corner cupboards either side of the cooker that could do with some pull-out storage to be more useful. I have the shelves in the second pic in my current home and they’re fine but should I be investigating any other options that folks might recommend? Thanks.

Yes! Cheapest and easiest- Ikea fabric boxes. Exactly the right size, two on each shelf. The one at the back for occasional stuff like baking/picnic stuff. Pull th front one out and reach in to slide the back one to the front. Low tech, but so efficient! And cheap as chips!

Drona.

Hafele magic corner

Although to be honest I find it easier with big items like roasting tins and heavy pans to put them in the cupboard as it is without any gizmos! I do have one magic corner cupboard though for saucepans and lids.

Don't do it, Op. We got the pull-out ones in you picture in our last house and I hated them.

We gutted the house and redesigned the kitchen so I don't have anyone to blame but myself, but they were such a waste of time. When we looked round the kitchen showrooms we thought 'wow!' and thought they'd be so useful for getting to things in those cupboards. Reality was that a) it took a few extra seconds to pull the thing out rather than reach in and grab something, b) a lot of the space is taken away by them so we didn't have as much storage as we could have, c) the figure-of-eight shape of them (like in your picture) is such a weird shape and also means you can't fit certain things on then, and d) pulling something out into the kitchen area means things are now in the way and someone can't be in the cupboard next to you, or near you.

I know those all sound like tiny things, but together, on a daily basis = massive pain in the arse. I ended up putting things in those cupboards that I rarely used, just to avoid using them. But what a waste of space and money. Basic cupboards would have been far superior.

But if you are putting food/jars etc in them they are really useful. But presumably you won't if it's warm next to oven. Mine are in a cooler place..and I don't have the overhead storage for food items so need to get to back of the cupboard for some things on a regular basis.

My built in pull out shelves are rectangular. Been a godsend for a small kitchen and difficulty bending down.

My daughter has got one of those pull out things but she doesn’t get half as much in her cupboard as I do just by having deep trays, one behind the other and pulling them out when I need to. I keep all.the stuff I hardly use in the back trays.
One of my other corner units opens 2 doors, at right angles to each other, and is fully accessible.

I seem to be rare that I like my kidney bean shaped pull outs. I use mine for storing baking stuff and canisters of flour, sugar, etc , the mixer etc.

My friend has doors that open from the corner join outward (and no special shelving ) but the way the doors open mean it's easy to reach the back.

I have the pull out units. All the spices are on the top one. Less used items on the bottom.

Thanks for all your experiences and ideas - it’s really useful. I can’t change the cupboards themselves so just need something inside to make access easier. Anyone got anything like this pic?
