How long between survey and any buyer queries?

We’re selling our house and our buyers have had a survey done. They’ve told us (through the estate agent) that they have a few queries to raise based on the survey report. How quickly would you expect these to come through after them saying they have queries? I’m getting a bit stressed because I don’t know what these are - we’re not aware of anything wrong with the house so hoping it’s minor but who knows.
We’re willing/able to negotiate on price if there’s anything significant, but they want to complete in April so I’m not sure why they’re delaying unless it’s something really bad that’s come up and they might pull out!
Am I stressing unnecessarily?

They usually come through pretty quickly. We raised ours within a couple of days of the surgery but our buyers waited a month before raising their queries!

A month! Was there anything big that they were looking for quotes to fix, or were they just slow?

Our buyers waited a month...nothing major and we didn't budge on price

Just slow! We think their solicitor might have been at least partly to blame as they were slow generally.

We got queries off the back of our buyer's survey about a week after they got the report. Surveyors have a style of writing that can draw strange questions because of the way things have been articulated in the report. The questions we got back were quite odd because they were either things we had already answered in the property info form, that were visible on viewing or that we couldn't know without ripping out walls and floors. None of them were anything to worry about though.

Queries are only likely to come once the searches are also back. Presumably you have filled in the two Law Society forms from your solicitor? The buyer's conveyancer is likely to be acting for the buyer and their mortgage company. The mortgage company will want to know the house is sufficient security for the mortgage and that it won't depreciate in value due to issues. It's normal for all enquiries before contract to be made at the same time.

It’s end of tax year and stamp duty charges are changing from end of March so conveyancers are very busy with completions at mo. Saying that if the buyers want to complete by end of April then you should get enquiries raised soon
