Help! Can I divide this room???

Family of 6 hoping to move into a 4 bed house… looking at a house that is 2.20mx5.13m and has a front window and back window…

am I able to split this into two smaller rooms so two of my teens can have their own space?
I am aware that besides a stud wall and two doors it also will need to feed another radiator and a separate light and switch too.
I also feel the rooms maybe big enough for a single bed and wardrobe each though they are hoping for a desk each too…

please can anyone help me know if possible?

I think this is where we would be at with the teens!

I am just unsure who I would need? A joiner? And a plasterer? Or a builder that could do both?

I know I’d need at some point a plumber to put a radiator in one of the rooms and a electrician for the light 🙈🙈

Electricians and plumbers won't have too much of a problem adding sockets, lights and a radiator. Then you will just need a builder for the divide and doors.

I think you can be clever with furniture in a small space. Desk over the end of the bed or a folding desk. Shelving / wall units up high etc.

You need these beds:

This is what I was thinking as well. With an end panel and the two doors at an angle or to form a small box corridor. The beds don’t have to be a double a standard single is absolutely fine for the majority of teens/single adults.

I think this would be fine, either the diagonal doors or the wardrobe s as nd lobby solution. The eventual rooms would be around 7 x 8 foot which is fine for a single room. Clearly they would be “official” bedrooms as both would have access from a hallway and a window but I wouldn’t worry too much as I imagine if there are 6 of you you have plenty of other bedrooms and you can easily turn it back if/ when you wanted to sell.

I wouldn’t go for a high sleeper with teens though, I’d go for something like this. And yes first person you need is a builder- they will also sort electrics and may also be able to recommend a carpenter too.
