It looks rarely cold and uncomfortable. I prefer my houses small and cosy 😂. Also, it would be a nightmare to keep clean with all that white.

Ill see you and raise you this. https://www.rightmove.co.uk/properties/149354789#/?channel=RES_BUY

I reckon its been on the market for the best part of 18 years and has never been lived in

Even worse than the OP's choice! You'd literally have to gut the entire thing after spending 4 mil! 🤢

Elodie09 · 09/03/2025 17:11

I'm afraid it is a no from me as my fantasy house must have a swimming pool, preferably both indoor and outdoor.
I'll consider chipping in if you find a nicer house, one with a pool though.

I think that maybe the reason its been for sale for soooo long - its dropped in price over that time, I can't remember how much it was up for originally, somewhere around £6m I think

Yogaandchocolate · 09/03/2025 17:14

What’s with the two breakfast bars where you sit facing away from each other?

changedusernameforthis1 · 09/03/2025 17:16

I love it, aside from the pool/snooker room - maybe I have bad taste too as we seem to be in the minority, OP 😅

Highfivethatfart · 09/03/2025 17:17

No thank you. The only thing I like about it is the big teddy on the bed.

soupyspoon · 09/03/2025 17:18

Its not my cup of tea OP, is Swansea generally expensive?

I notice its not within walking distance of a station.

SmudgeButt · 09/03/2025 17:20

What? Only 1 tennis court??!!?? I'm out!

samlovesdilys · 09/03/2025 17:20

How about this one, not far back over the bridge...

I cant see even one thing about it thats likeable.
What do you like about it@kissmyfatass ??

Heylylaa · 09/03/2025 17:21

Uummm no thanks. You can keep this one to yourself.

kissmyfatass · 09/03/2025 17:24

Chuchoter · 09/03/2025 16:42

That's grim. There is one in Gowerton that is very similar if you want to move to Swansea and it's a lot cheaper!

Same builder. Very distinctive
I did live in Gowerton for a little while. Not sure I'd spend that much there though.

No not a fan at all. Completely devoid of any character as has been said. Bet that acoustically it’s an echoey nightmare.

This one however, is absolutely lovely and effectively 3 separate properties on one plot…

www.rightmove.co.uk/properties/157157939

Oh yes that is fabulous.

It's near the beach in an expensive area of Swansea. The first million is probably for location.

Springchickenhatching · 09/03/2025 17:30

You’d have to pay me to live there. It’s horrendous.

coolkatt · 09/03/2025 17:32

For a modern house it's nice but too cold and clinical for me, dare I say it a bit chavy

WildJadeWasp · 09/03/2025 17:35

Bet it echos, even when fully furnished.

housethatbuiltme · 09/03/2025 17:35

Size wise its good but other than that everything is awful... looks cold, hard and clinical plus wildly impractical.

WildJadeWasp · 09/03/2025 17:36

kissmyfatass · 09/03/2025 17:25

Oh yes that is fabulous.

Now this is more like it. Feckin hate these modern houses with no character and look like they're made of cardboard.

Cucy · 09/03/2025 17:50

I’ll chip in.

I feel it’s a good house to dance around in and slide around in your socks - 2 very important factors when house buying.

However, I’d give it a week or 2 and there’s no way it would still be looking that empty and clean once I get in there.

Lovely! Finally someone with taste 😂

Firenzeflower · 09/03/2025 17:53

Not keen. So I can’t donate the 50p I have spare this month to your cause.
All those shiny floors - I’d just fall over.

Sunnyside4 · 09/03/2025 18:01

It wouldn't feel like it's in the right location for style and the money, ie somewhere off a housing estate? I'd expect to find the look of it somewhere abroad. Some like the minimal stark white look, but it's not us. However, if you've got the money, the walk in wardrobe/dressing room would be great and I like what I assume in the area in the studio part with the blue kitchen and lounge area.

Having said that, I'm not sure if you're interested in it OP, but if it's your style, good location and space, then have a look.

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 09/03/2025 18:40

What's with all the steps going up ( in the rooms not even stairs )
I want to waft about bearing in mind it;s shiney marble floors , then add a step or two .
I'd face plant .
Easy to wipe the blood I s'ppose
