Selling off market

Just that really, has anyone any experience of selling their property this way and how successful it’s been. Considering it as we have an issue with our neighbours- I don’t believe they’d be a problem for anyone else, but we have a history and I think they could be difficult.

Yes it can work well and is very low key - discuss the issue with your neighbours with your estate agent.

Depending on the nature of the issue, you may need to declare it on the conveyancing forms, so just something to bear in mind. I realise that your question is more about not wanting to advertise the fact you are selling though. Of course, your neighbours may cotton on if you have a succession of people coming to view your property. Do you have reason to believe they will be disruptive to you selling in some way?

Do you mean selling without an estate agent or do you plan to use an EA who doesn’t publicly advertise your house?

yes still selling with an estate agent just not openly advertising it eg board / rightmove. Obviously they may well become aware of the situation, but they are out the house most days so we’re hoping we’d be able to get around the viewing part.
