Keep door or get rid

Hi, we're in the middle of a kitchen renovation and we currently have a door between the kitchen and utility, we we're going to remove the door altogether to open up the space as it's quite small but having second thoughts now and wondering if we should keep it in? And have it replaced with a glazed one maybe.
Any ideas would be very welcome 😊

I wouldn’t actively opt to lose a door to a utility - surely the whole point of a utility is that you don’t have to hear the washing machine / tumble drier noise and can just close a door on the muddy sportswear waiting to be washed and the camping gear airing out?

So glad our utility has a door. Really helps with the sound of the washing machine, tumble dryer and extractor fan, also means I don’t have to keep it tidy!

I would have a door. I would suggest a half glazed one with frosted glass.

I nice semi glazed one would be good or a pocket door if the door gets in the way. Our utility room (not off the kitchen) doesn't have a door and it does mildly frustrate me.

Aw thank you guys, that's really helped. I'm defo thinking half glazed and then hopefully that will still help everything feel a bit more open but have the option of closing it.
Most of the time we have it open anyway tbf as well use the back door almost like a porch so come and go that way so that's why we thought we would remove altogether.
But defo taking on board what you're saying and will keep it.

We're having something like this fitted between our kitchen and utility. I imagine for the most part it would be in the slid open position to allow for lots of light to come through, but it gives us the option to hide any mess without taking up the floor space of a normal door.

I love that and it would have been perfect but we don't have the space due to a radiator on both sides 😪 so will have to glazed or maybe a folding one, I'm not sure.
Originally we were going to take the door out all together as had some problems condensation in the utility but the main cause was it's so cold in there and warm in the kitchen but now the utility has a nice new big radiator and will be all insulated and boarded and we've had a new dpc and repointing etc so hopefully that will get on top of it so now rethinking getting rid of the door and keeping a door there, especially after the comments for a door 😊
