How can i make it look less ugly?

I havent been able to sleep for the week. Took us a year to decide on a new felt roof to get rid of ponding water. Our roofers have declared that its a job done. Photos attached for your amusement and judgement.

The flashings dont hug the wall tightly. And sealant looks poorly applied. And in the process they cut into the wall. But stopped after going for about a foot as they remembered that its boarded up so they shouldnt use the traditional way of installing flashings. The flashings were then nailed into the wooden wall (grey is grp). But they didnt seal up the cut before hanging the trims. Will the waterproofing be compromised? Should i remove the trim to patch up the wound?
And redo the sealant?

And any advice on how to make the expensive job look less diy-esque will be greatly appreciated!

You could redo the sealant in grey or clear or ask them to? Or add something over the top.i would replace that boarding they have cut through.

the boarding they cut through is actually the grey wall. no way to replace. its an open wound covered by flashing and sealant. should i remove the trim and patch up the cut? or for now it should be okay?

Tell them to come back and fix it. It looks terrible and unprofessional. Say, I expected that you would do a better job than that. Keep calling till they come back and repair it to your satisfaction.

That sealant is shockingly bad. I think it's worth trying to get them to fix it. Sorry, it's so upsetting when stuff like this happens.
