Asbestos garage roof

Hi just wondering if estate agents are supposed to make you aware of the garage roof been asbestos.

Theys nothing wrong with the roof really so I'm just gonna leave it.

What makes you think it is asbestos anyway? May not be.

I got a random letter in the post saying some of our garages have asbestos.

From a business offering to remove it for you for a price no doubt?

I’d trust the surveyor who has actually inspected the property and not reported any asbestos, rather than the speculative letter from a company trying to drum up business saying you might have asbestos, who has never even looked at it.
