Is this too small for an ensuite?

Hi,

Would love an extra bath/shower room in the house, and we are at the point where we are going to be pulling out our current fitted wardrobes. Wondering if this is doable as an ensuite r crazy and too small? The shower would probably be 760 or 800 by 1000, a pocket door, and fitted overbed furniture/possibly fitted storage into the bay window. Is this doable or crazy? Our current shower is 760 wide and comfortable width, but not sure if that would just mke the whole ensuite too narrow for toilet etc anyway so have measured 800 width ensuite in plan. Has anyone done anything like this? Was it good or bad? Thank you

too tight, I saw a really small one and that was 2.1mtrs by 1mtr and just enough room for toilet tiny sink and shower

No, it’s a bad idea. It’s going to be claustrophobic inside, and have you considered how close the bed would be to the toilet? Think about it - the noises. The smell. Just no.

Use a piece of carboard or string to layout the size on the floor somewhere. Either side, use dining chairs facing outwards with their back facing in- to give a visual idea of the space. Have a chair at one end facing inwards and sit on it, as if it was the toilet.

-Does your body or arms bang on the walls when sitting, doing regular, toileting things?
-Can you stand in the gap between the shower and toilet, dry your feet and legs again, without banging into the walls (chairs) or the sink?

Bathrooms need an exhaust fan. If the adjoining wall is another bedroom or hall, it will have to be piped go upwards. If there a loft above this bedroom, or another room?
