Shed base help please

Hi
I'm planning on building a shed, it'll be on top of Indian sandstone slabs, which are naturally not 100%flat so I think I'll need to still do a base for the shed, would I need to do a full wooden frame base like you would if it was placed of completely uneven ground or is there a cheaper easier way?
Thanks

Also do I need to screw the base to the slabs?
It's a wood shed so I'm hoping the weight is enough to stop it moving

If you’re talking a relatively lightweight garden shed that will hold the lawnmower etc then I’d put it on decking risers with a 2x4 base and then build up from there. Make sure your joists are wrapped in some sort of damp proof where they come into contact with supports to stop anything penetrating up from below. Pretty straight forward DIY job.

Should be 8 x 6 shed I think, I'm guessing this would be heavy enough not to need screwing down to attach to the slabs

I would definitely want to secure it somehow. A strong wind could definitely shift a flimsy 8x6 shed. Easy to sink some sort of anchor bolts into the ground. What you are securing into will depend on what base you’ve built.
