Streatham Hill - catchments for primary schools

I’m a mother of two DS’s who are in their 20’s and now at Uni. We are moving back into London and a lot has changed since we were last there. Are there strict catchments in Streatham Hill that alter house prices ?

Depends on what the need is. Are you looking to move without thinking of schools but just thinking of house prices?

There is a real issue with falling numbers in schools with the low birth rates and the movement of families further out of London.

The oversubscribed schools are doing ok but the ones that are not are struggling. That being said the prices in Streatham Hill are not cheap and have driven families away and out too.

As our sons are now at University we have no need to think about schools. It’s trying to understand if there is an inflated price to get into a certain catchment. Where we currently live some roads command a much higher price for access to certain schools. One of our sons is autistic and is studying at a London Uni, he cannot live independently so we need to relocate in order to support him more and DH has a new role thats 5 days a week in London.
