Help! Can't decide kitchen layout

Hi mumsnetters,
I'm stuck between deciding between 3 kitchen layouts. Which would you prefer?
Husband and I both cook, or wash and prep at the same time. Lot of times the kids are playing as well.
Does anyone have a peninsula and wished they had an island instead so everyone could get round? Or does anyone have an island and wished they didn't?
All thoughts welcome.
Thanks

Thank you so much everyone. I've tried to see it from your perspectives as well because more minds are greater than one. This isn't our forever home and we will look to move on in 7 to 8 years so it's really helpful to know what a prospective buyer may want.

So kitchen extension already exists with a galley kitchen along the left wall but utility area will be created with stud walls so it is flexible. The door will always stay in the middle to utility because door at an end means we cant use a whole wall to build storage.

Here are the new two updates. We've decided to keep the island and sink under window. Maneuverability and ventilation and just nice to look out. It's a north facing kitchen so no direct natural light so most light with be from artificial source. We're undecided on stools tbh and whether they stay depends on the final layout.

I think these two are much better, especially with the horizontal island. Much more easy to move around.

Your 2 newer layouts are a much better flow for the kitchen end.
I would though have 1 less press beside the utility wall and have the opening into the utility rm from that wall.
As the sofa has 2 doors beside it and makes it more of an access way. Rather than a family relaxation area. It would be much better for sofa to be against utility wall with no opening into utility.

New layout with horizontal island but with the utility door at the end rather than the middle or with the angle and the door on the angle.

Just to mention, is it possible to put a sliding pocket door into the utility from the kitchen? Then you don't sacrifice any space in the utility where the door would swing. That way you could keep the seating area from having a door in it. And maximise storage

@A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 I'm not sure. I can ask the person if possible and what the maintenance is like. Tbh i didn't even consider that as an option so appreciate the suggestion.

If you're building new studs, super easy. We've had them in previous place and in this one, and they're brilliant. About £230 for a standard size kit (get Eclisse for a decent one). None of our builders have had any issue fitting them
