In ground parasol base

We're having some paving put in for an eating area and I was thinking it might be an idea to get an inground parasol holder - something that would allow us to remove the parasol in winter - anyone do anything similar. I'd like not to be stuck to one brand for the parasol and the base.

Sorry no experience of one but I think a fixed one would be quite limiting. A normal weighted one might give you more flexibility to move it around.

I don't need to move it - there's one place for the eating area and that won't move - there's no space elsewhere. Flexibility is not needed.

Brabantia do a base that can be concreted in with a plastic cap to stop rainwater collecting in it. If the diameter of the parasol is the same you could use that?

We have the Brabantia in-ground hole for our washing line but the parasol I think would need to be anchored in, I think there's a danger a big gust of wind would parachute it out of the hole

I’m also looking for one of these. Came across this but haven’t bought it yet so can’t recommend

I think you have to pair it with this
