Have added two images, mark is the size of an ant but very noticeable. Is putting a tiny bit of silicone on it the best way to cover ?

I remember my DSis as a teenager, had perfect skin, she stressed so much if she got the tiniest spot or blemish. None of us noticed so she circle it with eyeliner. We all collapsed laughing.
Work surfaces get chipped, I have pale porcelain tiles that have been chipped, a bath that has been chipped, initially it really stressed me out, I would search the internet for repair solutions because I struggle with imperfection. But I remind myself of my DSis spot problem and now just ignore the imperfections.
Life is so much less stressful as a result.
You could try a repair but you could just make it worse or someone chips it somewhere else.
As it is I would struggle to see the chip unless you highlighted ( DSis analogy). Depending where it is I would cover it with a chopping board or a large piece of matching quartz to use for rolling pastry or tempering chocolate. It will impress visitors even if you never use it. Or stick a trivet over it, very practical and prevents further damage.

A tiny paintbrush and a tiny drop of Humbrol Enamel in the right shade of matt off white (from the modelmaker in our family). Did clean the chip out thoroughly first and let it dry.

I have used some clearish light candle wax to fill and then thinly slice it so it is level. Easy and cheap.

there are specialists who fix these marks, it’s well worth using a specialist, given the cost of replacing quality worktops and tiles.
