At what point do you have to prove funds?

So, we've accepted an offer on ours, and about to offer on somewhere else, but curious to know when we'll have to prove our funds?

The place we are planning on purchasing is quite a bit more than the one we are selling, and the difference is mainly coming from a straight forward deed of variation to a will, which is just being set in motion, so we are 2-4 weeks away from actually having the money!

Is this likely to be a problem if we make an offer now? We'll easily have enough in a few months when it actually matters!

We had to do it when we offered on our house. (Screenshots of DIP, mortgage balance and accepted offer on our house) You'll probably be fine with using the paper work that says this will is going through? Is a solicitor dealing with it in which case they could probably provide something?
