Blocking interior door

Hello!

We have purchased a property which has a jack and Jill bathroom. We haven't yet moved in but I'd like to get some ideas on costs for various works.

We want to block up one of the doors. I know the price will vary massively area to area but has anyone has an internal door blocked up and the walls made good? If so, how much did it cost.

We are West Yorkshire if that helps.

Tbh not sure I'd bother with the hassle of blocking it up, unless you are intending to change the layout in the bathroom? I'd just lock one of the doors and never use it, could put furniture over it too.
Anyway if you do want the upheaval of blocking it up, can't give exact cost but it should be pretty inexpensive.
Job breakdown is...Take off door and architrave. Build stud wall. Insulate. Plasterboard and skim both sides, or whatever wall finish you want. Match skirting. Paint. Refit carpet to new wall.
Last time I did this I did all the first bits myself then got a plasterer in to skim and a chippie for the skirting. Then I painted and sorted the carpet.
