Wrong amount on gifted deposit forms

A family member generously gifted me £60,000 a couple of years ago. I'm in the process of buying my first house and I'll be using £38,000 towards the deposit.

My family member has already signed declaration forms for both my mortgage advisor and solicitor and has also completed the anti money laundering checks for the solicitor.

My concern is (and I'm not sure why he's done this, a mistake I imagine) but he's put the wrong amount on one of the forms. He's declared 60k to the mortgage broker which is the correct amount but 50k to the solicitor. Since I'm not using all the money towards the deposit, will this matter?

I've read the details in my mortgage offer and it does say that my solicitor will need to send the declaration form to the mortgage lender before completion but so will the mortgage advisor. What would happen if the lender notices the difference?

We are due to complete in the next 2 weeks so worrying that this might delay things or cause issues!

I presume my solicitor won't allow me to exchange contracts until the bank has confirmed that all is ok and funds will be released on the agreed date? So if there are any issues (specifically with the deposit forms) then this will be picked up before we exchange anyway? Is that correct?

Hopefully I'm just overthinking things!
