Bedroom layout

Hey all, would love some help with my bedroom layout. It's been driving me mad since my daughter and I moved in June. Currently the bed is under the window (off centred) and the room feels quite cluttered. Im going to get rid of one of the chest of drawers. Having little storage in the house, I'm thinking of getting a 3 door wardrobe for more storage but it wouldn't fit in one of the alcoves like the chest of drawers. I've tried the bed on the wall as you come in but just feels very open and exposed which I don't love. Tried it on the wall behind the door but means it's pused up quite far to the left meaning I loose the use of one of the alcoves for furniture. Ant advice would be great!

C = chest of drawers
F = old unusable fireplace
W = wardrobe
Blue sqaures - chest of drawers
Window behind bed, radiator on other side behind wardrobe

I think you've got it the only way it can really go for maximum space. Would an ottoman type bed help with storage? I think the window being off centre would be the only bothersome thing but it is what it is.

Do you need to be able to access both sides of the bed? How about putting it in the corner where the blue square chests are currently with the long side of the bed going along the wall with the window? You'd be a bit further away from the door and you could put one of the chests between the bed and door to act as a visual barrier from the door. It would mean your floor space isn't broken up by the bed so much and may feel less cluttered that way. Would also agree with getting an ottoman, possibly to replace one of the chests and then you could put the wardrobe in the alcove if there's space for it.

Having the radiator behind a wardrobe won't be great in the winter! Can you stack the chests of drawers on top of each other and put the wardrobe in the other alcove? (We have stacked chests of drawers and I use the top drawers for stuff I don't need often and have a set of folding steps so I can see in properly!)

I would also move the bed against the wall (so it's not directly under the window making it easier to use the curtains or blinds) and have the blue squares unit under the window.

Sorry I got it mixed up, the two blue sqaures are night stands.

I dont need to access both sides. I think for space wise this would work best, as the room currently just feels very much like 70% bed and walking around the bed to get to anything. I don't love the idea of being on the same wall where the door walks into as out the door looks straight down the stairs. But I like the idea for space

I like the idea of stacking the chest of drawers! As I was going to get rid of one but that would give us a lot more storage! Do you mean the bed with the feet towards the door? I have thought of that but heard it's not great to have feet towards the door 😅
