Pushing out from existing side return extension

We recently bought a Victorian terrace which has previously been extended into the side return. However on living in it for a few months, we think we might want more space in the kitchen at some stage. The wrap around wasnt originally done, but im wondering if anyone has any idea of costs to push out, possibly only on 2/3 of the width so not meddling with the actual side return or the pitched roof.

there are some aluminium french doors which im wondering if we could then retain as the measurements would all be the same, just a couple of metres into the garden - does anyone have experience of keeping glazing to be put back into a new shell?

effectively it feels like it should be a fairly simple square extension of maybe 7 square metres which would give us more of a family room style set up in the kitchen.

but because the existing extension is actually still quite new, if we could retain the glass doors that would help a lot cost wise!

The doors shouldn't be a problem if the builder knows that's what you want to do he can build the opening to fit. Not sure it would make a huge difference to costs, extensions seem really expensive these days.

Well it would in that we wouldnt be paying for a new set of doors, but using existing ones

I didn't say it wouldn't save anything and if you really want those doors great, just % wise probably not huge. And they will add on a bit for taking them out (gently) and re-fitting, which might be a bit more difficult than using new doors with new frames.
