Vendor refusing to get up to date electric/gas certificate

Reason being, they accepted a reduced offer and are fixing 1 thing from the survey which is costing around 1k.

Its the buyers job to buy those things... if your buying off a landlord he might let you have them for free but no in general a home owner wouldn't have those and its the buyers job to test them.

We paid for an eletrical survey and a gas survey. It was pretty cheap. I'd do that if I were you.
