Loaf sofa so uncomfy! Where else should I look for stylish but supportive?

We saved for years for a loaf sofa and I feel really silly because it’s honestly so uncomfortable to watch TV on, breastfeed or snuggle with kids. You end up in this almost lying down position all the time. We watch TV with cushions propped up behind our neck. I’ve been looking online at sofas that have a slightly higher back and less depth to the seat but some of them seem a bit old-fashioned.

Where are your go-to places for trendy, well-made sofas that you can actually sit and relax on?

I’ve had two sofas from Sofology, both still going strong and comfy after 5 years. We visited the stores and sat on many, I wouldn’t want to buy without trying.

Following with interest OP. We are similar, have a beautiful sofa which is so uncomfortable. I'm determined to make a more sensible choice for our next sofa purchase!
