Radiator Question

Just a quick question really - I"m wanting to replace an old kitchen radiator with a new one. The existing radiator is 1340mm in length and 600mm high. I'm not sure whether I have to find a new one, EXACTLY the same mm in length - or can this be adjusted with fittings - I haven't got a clue how plumbing works. Obviously the existing pipework is in situ. Presuming the height doesn't matter? Thanks in advance for what may seem a silly question!

Pipework can be adjusted.
Find someone that can do the job for you first, and talk to them before sourcing the radiator. A tradesperson may be able to get the radiator cheaper with a trade discount.

This. We’re having all our radiators changed at the moment - they’ve discussed options for size with us, bought them from the plumber’s merchant and moved pipes as needed.

Only thing is they do need to be able to get under the floors to do this - if this is a problem then you may need to stick to the same size.

You need to use a BTU calculator to work out what size radiator will heat your kitchen. There are plenty online.
