Hey all,

just wondering what option others would go for. We are a family of 4 2 adults and 2 children. Currently in a 3 bedroom corner house which has some awkward shape. We’re looking to move and stuck between 2 homes.
A 4 bedroom plus study town house on the ground floor there is no storage option only living room kitchen and WC. Long narrow garden no driveway. As the mortgage will be higher won’t be able to do anything to the house for a long time. House have a garage that isn’t attached to the home.

second option 3 bedroom with driveway and big garden will be brand new as a new build can choose all our options and upgrades. Rooms are the same size what we have now and a downstairs we and storage cupboard

we really are stuck both are nice in the own ways

thank You

Keep looking. New builds are generally shockingly poor quality, it's the next big scandal looming on the horizon.
Town house sounds unsuitable for your needs, especially if you own a car. The right thing will come on the market, just hold tight if you can.

Why are you moving? If you have decided to move because you find your current house too small, then it would be odd to buy House 2 which you say is the same size. Choosing a smaller house just because it has a storage cupboard would also be odd - nothing to stop you putting freestanding cupboards in a bigger house and solving that issue.

Hi
our current house has never been too small. It’s just our kitchen diner is awkward shaped so we can’t get a dining table in plus there is no garden for the kids.
as the bigger house there is no space downstairs to put a cupboard as you walk in there is a small passage with a WC living room on the right kitchen on the left then just stairs.
