I'm going to regrout our tiles - but I don't want to remove existing grout. Just go over the existing.

Any recommendations for amazing products?

You can’t afaia. It will fall out.

Do not attempt to apply new grout over the damaged existing grout. Just applying new grout over the existing grout is called skim coating grout and the new grout will not properly adhere to the old grout. Over time the new grout will start flaking and chipping away. There are two ways to effectively remove old grout…

It will fall out in 18 months (if you're lucky) and probably sooner.

Don't do it. Hack out the old stuff.

What's the reason? If it's to recolour/freshen up old grout, I used this to freshen up old grout and worked brilliantly. Just wipe up excess while still wet or you have to scrape off the residue

This is why our new shower has boards instead of tiles. No grout to go manky. And it always does.

Hiya, I really don't recommend regrouting over the old grout, but honestly you don't need to remove all of it. Scraping 1 or 2mm off using a cheap grout blade is perfectly adequate to get long lasting results. I used this easy to follow guide from a local business near me - helped keep it simple and straight forward.

You need to de-grout first... as far as DIY jobs go its a pretty idiot proof one (just scrape with a tool) so quite easily accessible for most without needing a handyman/builder (unless you have a disability that would stop you being able to do it, in which case you can qualify for cheap handymen from the council).
