What is the best glue to use for a fridge shelf?

Tried googling and it's too confusing.

The milk shelf has broken and it costs £30 to replace. I resent it too much so want to fix it.

Any recommendations?

Is it plastic or metal. Do you have a photo?

As in the inside of the door shelf? Parcel tape

My fridge door handle has been held on with sellotape for 2 years now 🤣 I did keep replacing it but every time I did a different child broke it so I gave up

Spend the £30 and get a new one, you'll spend that in the end on the various glues and tapes and swearing and effort, plus it will be a germ trap. Treat yourself to a new shelf.

There is a flexible glue that is very good called Storm Glue. You can get 3 tubes for about £7.00 on Amazon. Once opened it goes off with a day or so (unless you freeze ir, bizarrely) so you don't but one big tube. I've restuck soles on a shoe with it.

I used superglue on mine a few years ago and it's still holding. I think it was loctite, a clear gel one

No, I already did that and the new one broke as well. Outrageous. I don't know why I feel so strongly about it, but it's really pissed me off. 😆

Really good duct tape like the gorilla tape stuff is good for fixing fridge and freezer drawers.

I fixed my freezer drawer with duct tape from Lidl at £1.99. The tape has a nylon web in it which makes it really strong.

It's still holding firm more than a year on. Bring the shelf up to room temperature first and make sure it is completely dry.
