ADVICE - What should we offer?

Property on for £170,000 -£180,000
I know an offer has been rejected for £169,000.

What should I start at?

If it's a property we really wanted, I think we'd have handled it the same way. It there's a better offer on the table, no point in wasting time thinking about it overnight, you need to get another offer in.

I'm sure you have, but have a think about what the maximum you'd pay/could pay would be if they go with the other party, and if that happens, still go back and ask agent to forward another offer.
