Selling house // Jointing Tape & Hair a-line plaster crack

Hi All

So we are selling our house and had a viewing where they pointed out jointing tape starting to show on the ceiling in our kitchen. It's not coming off the ceiling but the edging is showing, probably where the tape is drying out as this is in our kitchen and it gets super hot in there as the sun shines through all day plus the added heat from cooking. There is also a small hairline crack in the plaster just above our kitchen doors that they noticed too. This is purely in the plaster and not the brick work and again just caused by the heat we get in the kitchen - which we explained. Do you think this would put the buyers off such cosmetic touch ups? Obviously we are prepared to fix but didn't think it was that much of an issue as pretty common things to come across in a house.

Don't sell to them, they will p#ss you about.
Repair the issues before the next viewing.

They sound very nitpicky, if there is any choice I'd be disinclined to accept an offer from someone like this, as this'll only be the start of the pointless nonjob things they'll try and chip away with.

(and fix the hairline crack if it's easy to do, see how you feel about the tape issue)

In one way you can be glad that the only issues they have identified are tiny and (in the scheme of things) insignificant.
On the other hand, if they are querying such minor issues (are they FTB by any chance?), what will they be like if a survey picks up something or makes generalised recommendations.

I would treat with caution and if more than one buyer is interested, go with the other!

If it's something that's important to them, they will take that into account in their offer.

We had hairline cracks above two doors upstairs in our old house, which if they were raised on our buyer's survey, she wasn't too bothered about them.
