Ideas/inspiration for new bathroom please

Desperately need a new bathroom, but I'm not sure what I want in terms of colours for tiling and flooring, and what flooring to have. Have always had a carpet which is warm, but DH wants something different this time.
I loved having blue in our old house, but not much around in blue.

Can anyone give me any ideas/inspiration or show me part of their bathroom.

This is what we've got currently. Will probably keep the same layout.

Why do you need a new bathroom? And how are you going to get it done? What company are you using?

Toilet leaking, lots of chips in bath, grout grotty, also have had a roof leak (currently having new roof) so mould at top of tiles, probably damp behind them as there's damp other side of wall, flooring grubby, bath panal cracked and ill fitting - lots of small things really. The bath area feels an embarrassment if we have guests.

Do you need / want a bath or would you be fine with just a shower? You could make that space into a really lovely shower room.

Not sure of sizing but I looks like you could fit in a separate shower if you wanted. Put the sink where the radiator is and turn the bath so it's under the window, then you'd have room for a full sized shower in the corner where I can already see your shower curtain. Put a slim radiator behind the door.
Consider a sink unit with a cupboard or drawers for a bit of storage. I have a wall hung sink with 2 drawers and space underneath for 2 soft baskets. One has spare loo rolls and the other face cloths and hands towels. The drawers contain all my toiletries.
We have lvt on the floor, it's cooler underfoot in the summer but not freezing cold in the winter, and very easy to clean. DH wanted under floor heating but I nixed that on cost grounds. Think it would've been a lovely luxury touch but not needed.
We went for a pale marble look tile on the walls and I paired the room sky blue. My theory being that if I get fed up of the colour I can repaint but retiling is hassle so I wanted to pick something timeless. The lvt on the floor is a mid grey with sparkles.
I picked a fairly compact sink and loo so it still feels like I've got a decent amount of floor space and it doesn't feel like I'm walking straight into the sink as it doesn't project to far.

Can’t see any of that from the photo - are you using a local tradesman?

Carpet in a bathroom!!
Don't do this. Its a wet room. Tiles all the way..with underfloor heaing if you can.

I'd go for LVT flooring as previously mentioned, it's not cold like tiles and it's really practical for cleaning.
For the walls I'd consider good quality panels, not the cheap thin versions though, you can get some that look like large tiles. Then you don't have to worry about grout plus they reduce condensation.

Thanks for your comments. We haven't contacted tradesmen yet, just been looking around a couple of suppliers. In our old house, I knew exactly what I wanted, but haven't seen anything I love. Its our new project once we're sure we have a leak free roof.

Good points over the bath and shower. I keep slipping down bath, so have only had 4/5 baths in ten tears here - wondering if it's longer than average or the P shape. DH would like one.

On the photo it looks fairly new, but not worn well.
