How much to fit bathroom

We’ve getting quotes to have our bathroom refitted & just wondering was the average cost for just removing & refitting a bathroom is.

It’ll be a 3 piece, so just toilet, sink & shower then tiling the walls & floor.

the first quote we’ve got back is as much as I though the whole bathroom, including fittings, would cost..

how much have you paid just for labour for something similar recently?

I just had an ensuite bathroom ripped out and that part alone cost about £900. The whole bathroom itself is being rebuilt and it's going to cost over £10k with fittings and that's with removing all the tiling and plastering the entire room (damp issue). The plastering and micro cementing for the shower was about £2,000.

Thanks @whirlyhead sounds like the quote was about right then (just over £6k to rip out existing, install new, tile walls and floors and dispose of waste).
Guess I shouldn’t always trust prices that I see on google 😂

Had a largish bathroom ripped out and refitted but just with a walk in slower, toilet and sink. Walls fully tilled with Porcelanosa tiles but painted ceiling ourselves and had flooring done by another contractor and bought sink from another supplier. Approx £10.5K in the South East 3.5 years ago. We didn’t choose top range.

I just had a new bathroom in London. Labour was £1.8k at £140 per day (10ish days). Materials were about £3k (Victorian Plumbing)

@Alicewinn oh, that’s quite a difference! Did that include tiling etc?

My builder isn't cheap, but he's awesome. He just quoted me between £5k and 7k VAT inclusive for various levels of strip out and replace of an ordinary sized bathroom. Quotes varied depending on things like underfloor heating, whether we wanted a free-standing shower, etc. We supplied the non-technical material in addition (ie chose our own tiles, taps, shower screen, vanity, bath, etc) which ended up at around £3k. South East.
