Cost of Replacing old front door with composite?

We have a 1920s house with the original wooden front door and timber side panels.
Unfortunately pieces of the frame and panels are rotten. The door is south facing so the hot sun lifts and blisters the paint plus it's draughty in winter.
As much as I try to be sympathetic to the house I want to change it for a composite version - hopefully something in a similar style.

Has anyone replaced a similar door recently? Could you give me a rough idea of how much I need to budget please? Any recommendations also appreciated. Thanks

P.s the picture is not my door (sadly) but it's a similar style/shape

It doesn't show unless you click on the pic, but there is also a fanlight above

Actually the fanlight is clear without clicking.

I had my door and fanlight replaced last August. (I don't have the side panels, though)Cost me £1400 supplied and fitted. I had originally looked on the Solidor website and it came to £2200 before fitting so I thought more than I was willing to spend.

I had a double bay window replaced by a local company and asked him if he did doors.

He did and so pleased with the end result.

Try a few local, smaller, companies.

We used Hurst doors website, where you put in your door design and a local company sends you a quote for fitting it. They have similar composite door designs (and colours) to the door you posted. We have much wider side panels and a rectangular top glass piece and chose a privacy glass for the sides, came to just over £3K.

We had a new front door last summer. Like yours with glass side panels, but without the curved glass section on top.
Ours was £3k.

@billyt that sounds like a great price.
I was thinking it would probably be 2.5-3k due to the fanlight etc.

@Goforhappy @SlothsNeverGetIll
Did that include fitting or is that just for the door?

Yes including fitting. We had around a 5-6 week wait though for it to be made.

We had new composite front and back doors fitted last year. I got 4 quotes and used a local firm with good reviews and price. The big companies were ridiculously expensive, including Solidor.

So whatever you do, shop around is my advice.
