Please excuse the complete newb, idiot question. At present we have a vast garage in our rental, but most of the houses we're looking at potentially buying don't have them, and if you wanted to build one, there wouldn't be access from the front of the house anyway (countryside cottages, mostly), so it would seem a bit out of place (and obviously not cheap these days) to erect one.
So, obviously, sheds exist! But I've always been under the impression they become damp rust buckets after a time. But I have also never used one, so that's an assumption.
How would we stop a £600 BBQ and various ladders, circular saws, sanders, etc from rusting in a shed?
I'm sure there must be some sort of outbuilding trickery or maybe just a more superior kind of shed that exists that I don't know about.
Or, do you just concede that's the way it is and only ever buy cheap stuff?
Tyvmia, and happy Friday!
