What’s the best area of Central London to live?

Love the architectural vibe of Soho but think I’d go crazy with how busy it is. South Bank is cool but quite 90s and gets rough quite quickly.

If you were moving to London for a couple of years with work and could rent a one bed flat anywhere central, where would it be?

Regent’s Park or Marylebone.

Greenwich. It's lovely.

Marylebone. Used to live in the less posh end and I still love the high street and the general atmosphere.

Walking into Central London from Greenwich every day is lovely, but not realistic.

Marylebone - I used to work off the top end of Baker Street and loved wandering round there in my lunch hour. It actually has stuff as well as being super central and pretty architecture.

I lived in Fitzroy Square when I was a student in the late 80s. That was awesome. Easy walk to everywhere I needed to go. Even when we went on that stop the clause march in Manchester the train left from Euston.
I'd live there again but this time join that residents club so I could get a key to the private garden.
Or Soho my gym is in Marshall Street it's surprisingly chilled most of the time.

Fitzrovia or Marylebone.

Elephant and Castle/Borough. Best times of my life living there

Definitely Marylebone.

It’s my dream to own a mews house there. 😍

The South Bank. There's some tiny houses near Tate Modern and I love walking past them and wondering who lives there.

I lived near the Barbican and a family member lives there now and did when I was a child. I love it there, many happy memories and would live there in a heartbeat.
