I feel your pain op. I'm getting a howdens kitchen and I never thought I'd care so much about a sodding sink

I was going to go for stainless steel. I have a white non ceramic sink and I have to bleach it regularly (we eat asian turmeric based food a lot). I thought if I had ceramic then if I drop a glass in the sink it'll smash. Or a heavy dish will crack the sink.

We had white ceramic in our last house, in a very hard water area. It was so easy to keep clean and still looked clean even when it needed a good scrub if you see what I mean. We have stainless steel in this house and I find it really annoying to keep it looking properly clean. If we leave anything on the draining board to dry that doesn't go in the dishwasher it always seems to leave a bit of a film behind. Could be our water (although it's soft where we live now), it's not soap scum as we rinse everything well. We're replacing it soon and going back to ceramic.
