X-tex to remove Artex.

We have had our Artex tested and we have a very small amount of the low risk asbestos in our porch area. The company who did the testing suggested either leaving it, or removing it with a product called Xtex.
We are keen to get rid of it, but I have read mixed reviews about Xtex online.
Has anyone used it and can you tell me what worked best? Some reviews says to paint it on and leave it for 24 hrs covered in cling film.
Thank you 😊

Why do you need to remove it? Is there any likelihood of disturbing it?

Yes, it does need to go.

I am using it right now. I have slapped it on a small area twice. It hasn't done much. My next step is to leave it 24hrs covered in clingfilm. My artex has been painted over and this makes it harder to remove.

I will try the cling film next weekend and post my findings.

I should add, there isn't anything else I can do to remove the artex. The x-tex is my only option.

Steam it off with a wallpaper stripper.
