Right to Manage (Flats)

I understand that owners of flats in a block can effectively sack management companies (service charges), and set up a Right to Manage - but need 50 per cent support of other owners. What happens if you don't agree? I get you can't stop it and would have to carry on paying service charges etc but do you have to pay for the legal fees and all the admin charges necessitated for the switch to Right to Manage - paying for something you did not vote for?

Just doing some fact finding. Some neighbours are making noises in this direction and I want to be prepared in case I do not want to pursue.

Is there a good resource for this issue I can be directed to.

Lots of info and I've found them very helpful if you send a query.

And IIRC the support is 50% of leaseholders, not person who wants RTM plus 50% of the rest of the tenants.
