Mortgage with Skipton - missed payment

So we got our DIP with Skipton, my Experian score was 999, as was my husband, no missed payments by me in over 5 years and by my husband in 3.
Sold our house, put an offer in on another one and instructed solicitors etc and all the while I’m checking my credit score and I see a missed payment from March!!!
I panic, it turns out I changed my phone contract last month and didn’t realise there was a small payment of £4 left on the account. I paid immediately as soon as I realised, 11 days overdue.

does anyone have any experience with Skipton in a situation like this? I’m massively panicking now.

I don’t know the answer to this but surely this should be ok?
Can you speak to previous phone contract and try and explain this was a mistake as sometimes they can remove this mark from your credit file especially if you settle. Seems a bit crap that they’ve recorded a default so quickly to be fair.
Have you gone through a mortgage advisor as they may be able to give advice

I had an incorrect/mistake missed payment on my credit score which didn't show up until during the middle of my mortgage application with HSBC. I was panic stricken as HSBC are one of the stricter lenders. What they asked me to do was write a letter explaining what had happened, provide evidence. In my case that OVO had incorrectly registered a missed payment, so I sent all my accounts statements. HSBC approved the mortgage within 24 hours.

I know yours is technically an accurate missed payment, but I suspect they would just ask for further info, and you'd be able to show it was for £4, only 11 days late, and a mix up because of the end of a phone contract. An underwriter isn't going to turn down a mortgage on that basis.
