Can you track status changes in Rightmove?

Is it possible to see when a property's status changed to 'under offer' or 'sstc'?

Thanks

Under filters you can toggle to get properties which have sstc. But it doesn’t show the date.

Yeah I was hoping there was some add on that would show it.

Zoopla will show when it was sold as in completed - but it’s only updated with the details once land registry is updated.

A mortgage adviser can tell you.

I have an add on that shows changes in price, etc

Flubadubba · 17/03/2024 07:40

Isn't this what PropertyLog does? Normally there is a poster banging on about it.

I'd love to know how?

The house we are buying is a 3 bed that has been for sale nearly a year, for the last month its been SSTC to us... according to property log its a 4 bed that has never been for sale.

Property log is useless.

My one has a system he accesses to say when it went on the market, sold, price drops etc. He is in a large company so l don't think it's an uncommon thing.

Never actually used it, but that explains a hell of a lot about various posters posts

Yeah I often do that. The reason I wanted to know is to see how quickly properties are selling in a particular area i.e. From the 'added to rightmove' date to under offer or sstc.

I suppose I could contact the EAs but they might not tell me

@IPartridge ah! For that I use zoopla. It lists when the house was first up for sale and when it was sold - it does tells you the month if not the actual date, so it’s easy to track trends in an area or street. You do need to create an account. (Confession it’s what I’m currently doing as we are looking to both buy and sell and I want to know realistically what I’m likely to get and pay).

Is it the completion date or the date the offer was accepted that it gives?

@IPartridge completion date as lodged at the land registry.
personally I don’t find it of any use knowing how long it takes from sstc to completion as it depends on so many random factors I cannot possibly know. Even knowing the time between being out on the market and completion is open to so many variables, that I tend to take an average time per area, in the hope that it does even some of the quick v long transactions out. Eg a probate property tends to take much longer than a cash purchase, and even chains can vary in length etc etc.
