My house was built in the early 1930s. This fireplace is in a bedroom. Any ideas if it is original (the tiles in particular)?

This is giving me so many ideas if your DD wants a pink room! I'd go with two shades of warmer peach-pink (light) on walls, perhaps painted not right to ceiling, but 80% up the wall, then stronger warm raspberry juicy accents - shelves, frames etc. Also splash some navy in this room. This is screaming for a mantlepiece above it with a nice large frame incorporating all the blues and pinks above it. I'd in fact go all out vibrant rainbow tbh.
