New house too expensive

I feel so stupid writing this but I think our new house is too expensive: we've upsized and I'm having massive regrets. How long until we can sell without losing too much ?

How are you feeling now @Regretss?

I've just put an offer in on a house where all utilities and the mortgage are over double what we pay now. Started frantically googling about people transitioning to higher expenses and found this thread! Hope it's feeling more manageable for you now.

I have to agree with all the very supportive messages I got on this thread ! I can't thank all the previous posters enough! We took on board a lot of the recommendations! Yes the new house is more expensive but it's also much bigger, in a better, greener area with better schools. I would say I've clearly remembered why we bought the house and love it. We're going to take things one step at a time x

Can't you put it back on the market for £3k more to cover some of the fees, costs?
