Temporary blinds - any ideas?

I need to fit temporary blinds until new blinds will be ready (ca 2-3 months) - is there anything that might work well without leaving any trace behind ? I.e. no drilling required, no sticky tape residue etc ? TIA

We renovated a derelict house and months on, still have cardboard stuck on the windows 😂
Dunelm do temporary curtains. I'm not sure how they stick on though, but think it was sticky adhesive things ? I did look at them, but got the impression you couldn't open and close them easily- so the room would remain dark- unless a corner of the curtain was pulled up. I might be wrong, as decided not to buy them.

Depending where you need the coverage, my cardboard solution is fine for the moment. Cardboard at the top of the window where a neighbouring property has a window which overlooks- still allowing light into the kitchen/workbench. Cardboard at the bottom of windows in the bedrooms and other rooms to provide privacy, but still allow light in at the top.

Using those spring loaded curtain rods, hang voile or muslin curtains, either through hems or with crocodile clasps with hooks.

Buy translucent fake stained glass window film. It comes in so many designs.

In the past, I have used free standing screens, louvred shutters or glazed doors, as temporary solutions.

I've done fake roman blinds with three telescopic rods. You could also make temporary curtains if you want to easily open them. Use a telescopic rod, and rings with clips to easily fix the fabric onto the rod.

How temporary how cheap? I love the perfect fit blinds I got from blinds2go to fit pvc frames - we plan to renovate our house and I didn't want to spend proper money on decent fabric blinds etc. they cost less than £200 per window so much less than bespoke Roman blinds but not really cheap either.

I used the ikea paper blinds.

I have used paper blinds from Amazon - had to weight them down initially as my window was the max length but they were fully black out.
