Floor plan / kitchen layout

I am thinking of moving. New kitchen required I feel a trip to DIY kitchens up north. 😊

I am thinking I should block up the sitting room door.
The dividing wall between the kitchen and the dining room could go as it is not structural.
The kitchen would then be 21'2" x 11"7
The sink and dishwasher are under the window. There is a fitted oven and an American fridge freezer on the right hand wall.
( i already have an ever hot range cooker which I love it is 100cm wide )

The kitchen is almost new has a peninsular breakfast bar at the moment and it is in excellent condition.
Are there too many doors to make this plan viable?

I wouldn’t block up the sitting room door.

Make the partition between the kitchen and dining room an breakfast bar - so double cupboards one kitchen side one dining room side - you could then store the nice plates and glasses napkins for the dining room.

you already have a utility so don’t need that many cupboards in the kitchen. Think streamlined and tidy!

How many downstairs rooms are there? If you don’t need a dining room, do you need a study, snug, playroom? Is there a table in the kitchen currently?

There is currently a breakfast bar and 3 stools in the kitchen .
Large study/office over the garage.
The sitting room is a good size.

I'm confused about what your question is?

You say the kitchen's almost new, but that you're looking for a new kitchen?

Could you maybe add a layout or picture of your current kitchen and say what you're looking for that it doesn't have?

DIY have a great online planner which you can use to play around with options.

You need to explain why you want to knock down the wall between the kitchen and dining room. Is the kitchen too small? Would you not use a dining room?

Thanks. The DIY planner is really helpful, I was undecided about keeping the kitchen although it is fairly new.
I thought Open plan might be better but there are too many doors to make open plan viable.
I need at least two door free walls to form an L shape.
