1960s house, big windows - nets, blinds, shutters ?

Just moved into a 1960s chalet style house. At the front, we have large windows which are currently dressed with old net curtains inherited from previous owner. Keen to update but struggling to decide on best option for a contemporary yet classic look. Pic of some potential nets I found. Would wooden blinds work? The exterior cladding is white btw. Any advice / thoughts welcome!

How big are the windows??? Wooden blinds are lovely but could work out expensive. My house has 8 foot long windows 😱😱

Following OP because I have the same issue! Huge windows, and no ideas. The previous owner went with no curtains!

Windows like this
1 large, 1 patio style that is floor to ceiling, 1 smaller. Don't have dims to hand!

I'd go for nets / voiles. Shutters or blinds over such a large space (especially floor to ceiling) might look cluttered, as well as being more expensive. It's a personal thing though. Net blinds are another option.

@ClematisBlue49 thanks for the feedback! I'm inclined to agree on the nets/voles tbh

I have same problem.
I'm thinking voile blinds and curtains on top for evening
Meanwhile I have old fashioned nets on a rod and normal curtains for evening as well. The light comes from above so opaque blinds tend to make the windows feel lower as it blocks light source.
Especially in winter
Depends how hot your room gets in summer too, blinds can keep room cool too.
